NDL (no-dollar-limit) warranties — which cover repair or replacement costs without a dollar cap — require that the original installation be performed by a certified applicator and that ongoing maintenance and repairs be performed by qualified contractors to the manufacturer's specifications. For school districts and institutional facilities that have existing Carlisle SynTec, Firestone, Johns Manville, GAF, or Siplast roofing systems with active NDL warranties, it is critical that any repairs or maintenance be performed by a certified applicator — otherwise warranty coverage may be voided.
